After witnessing many past Canada Games athletes compete in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, the opportunities that the Canada Summer Games provides its athletes and coaches with is unparalleled. Reflecting on my experiences in competition and training throughout the summer of 2016 with the athletes in our training pool, I am very much looking forward to continuing to help these athletes on their journey towards being selected to our Canada Games team.
