Team Atlantic Men Canada Cup Head Coach Announced/ Decision de l\'Entraineur Chef pour l’Équipe Atlantique Masculin de Coupe Canada

Volleyball Nova Scotia, Volleyball New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association and Volleyball Prince Edward Island are proud to announce that Henri Mallet (Fredericton, NB) will represent all 4 Atlantic Provinces as the Head Coach for the Canada Cup Team Atlantic Men’s Program for 2018.
 
Henri, a trained NCCP Performance coach, comes with a wealth of experience as he is currently the Head Coach of St. Thomas University Men’s Volleyball Team who just recently captured the ACAA conference title in 2018 and then competed at the CCAA National Championships. Henri has also been a two-time member of Team New Brunswick’s Canada Games Beach Volleyball Program as the Head Coach for the 2013 and 2017 cycles. Henri has also spent time as an Assistant Coach at the USports level both with the UNB Men’s Volleyball Team from 2013-2017, as well as the University of Ottawa Women’s Volleyball Program from 2011-2013. Henri also spends time coaching at the club level and is the Founder and Head Coach of MAE Volleyball Club based out of Fredericton, NB, which has club programs for indoor, as well as beach, and runs SPIKE camps in the summer for younger athletes.

All 4 Volleyball Associations are very excited about the inaugural year of Team Atlantic and look forward to seeing this program succeed under Henri’s leadership.

Volleyball Nouvelle-Écosse, Volleyball Nouveau-Brunswick, Association de Volleyball de Terre-Neuve et Labrador et Volleyball Île-du-Prince-Édouard sont fiers d’annoncer que Henri Mallet (Fredericton, NB) représentera les quatre provinces Atlantiques comme entraineur-chef pour l’équipe Atlantique masculine qui participera à la Coupe canadienne en 2018.

Henri, un entraineur de performance certifié du PNCE, est présentement l’entraineur-chef de l’équipe masculine de l’Université de St. Thomas, qui vient tout juste de gagner le titre Champions AASC en 2018 et qui ont participé au Championnat national ACSC. Henri à aussi participer deux fois en tant qu’entraineur-chef pour les équipes de plage aux Jeux du Canada en 2013 et 2017. Il était aussi entraineur-adjoint pour l’équipe masculine de UNB de 2013 à 2017 et de 2011 à 2013 pour l’équipe féminine à l’Université d’Ottawa. Henri passe beaucoup de temps au niveau des clubs aussi. Il est le fondateur du club MAE de Fredericton, NB qui a des programmes d’intérieur, de plage et offre des camps d’été SPIKE pour les athlètes plus jeunes.

Les quatre associations de volleyball sont excitées pour cette première année de l’Équipe Atlantique et ont hâte de voir le succès de ce programme avec le leadership d’Henri.
