Volleyball Nova Scotia has hired the head coaches for Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Beach Volleyball teams for the 2021 Canada Games.
Volleyball Nova Scotia has hired the head coaches for Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Beach Volleyball teams for the 2021 Canada Games.
As follows: Men’s Indoor – Angus Rhuland, Women’s Indoor – Jonathan MacDonald, Men’s Beach – Andrew Costa, Women’s Beach – Beate Shannon.
“We are thrilled with the calibre of our selected Head Coaches for the 2021 cycle. The selection process was not an easy one, but the selection committee believes in the vision and experience that they will each bring to the table, and I look forward to watching what they can achieve with our athletes.” Says Megan Conroy, Technical Director at Volleyball Nova Scotia, “There is a wealth of high-performance experience among this group, as well as an eagerness to continue the growth in this area that Nova Scotia has seen in recent years – we look forward to competing strongly in Niagara 2021!”.
All four of the coaches are excited to work with athletes in Nova Scotia to be successful at the 2021 Canada Games, and strive to make our province proud.

They are so obviously devoted to the player’s development and growth.” Says Jason Trepanier, Executive Director at Volleyball Nova Scotia, “I have every confidence that each one of the coaches hired will do a fantastic job representing the volleyball community.
