Club Approval Application

The Club Approval Application is mandatory for all clubs to complete annually prior to the start of club activities. On October 1st, the "Youth Club's Page" will be reset and updated with information provided during the Club Approval Application.

New for the 2024-25 season. Clubs located in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) will only be permitted to offer teams for which they had a feeder team during the preceding year. VNS will provide each approcved HRM club with a specific list of teams they are eligible to offer for the upcoming season. The aim of this approach is to strengthen the club system by emphasizing the development of young players and providing more opportunities for them to engage in the sport.
 
HRM Club team offering requirements:
  • No requirement for clubs offering teams at 13U and 14U age categories.
  • To offer a 15U team, a club must have had a 13U or 14U team in that gender participate in the indoor NS Championships the prior season.
  • To offer a 16U team, a club must have had a 14U or 15U team in that genderparticipate in the indoor NS Championships the prior season.
  • To offer a 17U team, a club must have had a 15U or 16U team in that gender participate in the indoor NS Championships the prior season.
  • To offer an 18U team, a club must have had a 16U or 17U team in that gender participate in the indoor NS Championships the prior season.
*An HRM Club is defined as a club offering activities inside the HRM.
** Each feeder team may only be referenced once.

Prior to registering we encourage you to watch the following short videos that have been created by Sportlomo explaining the Club President Registration and Club Registration, Club Approval Application Process. Detailed instructions are provided below as well.
 
Please have your NCCP NUMBER READY. Volleyball Canada requires all PIA (Persons in Authority) to complete a free 45 minute Safe Sport Training E-Learning Module. The Sportlomo system is linked with the NCCP and will allow VNS to verify completion of the training.
 
To create an NCCP Account follow this link: https://thelocker.coach.ca/account/login?ReturnUrl=%2f and to access the Safe Sport Training follow this link: https://safesport.coach.ca (This can be completed at a later date but must be completed prior to the club’s information being added to the Youth Clubs page)
 
Step 1 - CREATE AN ACCOUNT
  1. Follow the link and “Sign Up”  to “Create an Account”. https://volleyball.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/registration/member-registration/club/63021
  2. Enter information and click “Register”
  3. On the next page make sure there is a “1” beside the Club President” and hit “Register”.
  4. On the next page input your information, read and agree to the waivers, sign and hit “Register”.
  5. On the next page enter your credit card details and hit “Continue” to purchase the membership
 
Step 2 – ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT
  1. CHECK YOUR EMAIL and look for an email with “User Registration Confirmation” in the subject line.
  2. Click “Activate Account”
 
Step 3 – CLUB APPROVAL APPLICATION (PLEASE NOTE APPLICATIONS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED FROM SEPT 1 TO MARCH 1)
  1. Follow this link to the Club Registration page: https://volleyball.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/registration/event-registration/index/12318
  2. Go to the bottom of the page and click “Purchase/Register for Events”
  3. On the next page you will be asked to “Log In”
  4. Click the “Buy” icon beside the CLUB APPROVAL APPLICATION
  5. On the next few pages input the CLUB’S INFORMATION” until complete.
