Unsanctioned Events
Volleyball Nova Scotia’s insurance coverage is only applicable for Open Tournaments, Super Series, 14U Seeding Tournaments, and NS Championships. These events adhere to our Safe Sport requirements, employ certified referees, and follow our tournament standards. Registered participants in these events are covered under our insurance policy.
It is important to note that competitions not listed on the Open Tournaments webpage, and not directly organized by VNS or Volleyball Canada are considered unsanctioned, and therefore not covered by our insurance policy. It's crucial for everyone to understand these limitations and take necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Participating in unsanctioned events may invalidate insurance coverage, putting participants at risk.
