Advanced Development Coach Workshop - Zoom + In-Person - Oct 19th - Nov 16th

This is a roughly 22 hour course which takes place over 4 weeks which includes:

- Synchronus - Live!
  - 4 Live! Facilitated classes with a Learning Facilitator + 1 Virtual Office Hours(specifics listed below)
- Asynchronus - On your own time
  - Watching 3 Lectures (Total of ~ 3 hours) and completing 3 assignments (Total of 5-6 hours) to be completed outside of the Live! classes at your own pace, on your own time
- Live In-Person - Dr. J.H. Gillis Regional High School, Antigonish
  - 9am-6pm on court

Dates & Times:

October 19th - 8:00-9:15pm: Live! Introduction Session
October 26th- 7:00-9:30pm: Live! Session Module 1
October 29th - 8:00-9:15pm: Virtual Office Hours 2
Nov 2nd- 7:00-9:30pm: Live! Session Module 2
Nov 9th - 7:00-9:30pm: Live! Session Module 3
Nov 16th- 9:00am-6:00pm - In-Person on court final day (with athletes) at Dr. J.H. Gillis, Antigonish
- *Note: Coaches MUST be in attendance for all listed Live Sessions, Virtual Office Hours 2, and the 1-day in-person in full to receive credit for the course.

Location: Online via Zoom Platform + In-Person on Nov 16th

Cost: $275.00- paid online through Volleyball Connect
* Please note coaches withdrawing from the course within 7 days of the intro session will be refunded minus a 20% administration fee. Participants withdrawing after course start will not receive a refund.

Pre-Requisites to Register:

Must have a minimum of the following e-Learning + In-Person courses completed:
1. Volleyball Canada Foundations of Volleyball Course ($89.00, 2-3 hours to complete)
2. NCCP Emergency Action Plan Course (Free, 15 minutes to complete)
3. CAC Safe Sport Training (Free, 45 minutes to complete)
4. NCCP Development Coach Workshop/Technical 1/Volleyball Workshop 1 completed
5. Coaches must be a Registered Coach with VNS (Recreational or Competitive)

Must have the above pre-requisites completed.
To Register:
1. Go to your Sportlomo Account: https://volleyball.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/users/login
2. On your Member Details Card, click the "Volleyball Connect" link
3. On the landing page, click the "COACHES" section
4. Scroll down past the Resource Kit (which is fantastic by the way, check it out!) to the " Nova Scotia - Advanced Development Pathway"
5. Click on the "Advanced Development Coach Workshop - Indoor"
6. Register!
