There are subtle (and not-so-subtle) differences between beach volleyball and its indoor cousin, but the aim of the game is the same -- to compete, have fun, and enjoy the sport of volleyball!
Volleyball Nova Scotia's tournaments are played out of the Pemamkiaq Beach Volleyball Courts in Burnside. The 12-court beach volleyball facility is located at –
261 Commodore Drive, Burnside, NS.
The tournament entry fee is $75 per team and each player requires a Recreational Membership.

Registration for each tournament closes at 11:59pm on the Monday before the tournament.

Age Specific Beach Volleyball Rules
Draft schedules will be released by end of the day on the Thursday before the event. Typically the Player's Meeting will begin at 8:30 with the first matches of the day starting at 9am. Each team will play between 4 and 6 matches throughout the day with the last game finishing around 5pm.
2025 Tentative Adult Beach Tournament Dates:
- June 8
- June 29
- July 20
- August 3 NS Championships

Prizes
The following guidelines will be followed when issuing prizing unless otherwise indicated by the tournament hosts.
