NS Championships

The Nova Scotia Championships is the culmination of the club volleyball season and a highly anticipated annual highlight for the over 260 participating teams. This event brings together over 3500 athletes and 600 coaches from across the region to compete at the highest level in a celebration of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship. For many athletes, the event represents the peak of their season, a chance to showcase their growth, challenge themselves against top competition, and create lasting memories with teammates, coaches, and families. The energy, pride, and passion on display make the Championships a true showcase of the volleyball community in Nova Scotia.

NS Championships Preferred Format:
  • The preferred format for Tier 1 and 2 of NS Championships will be a 24-team schedule, using pools of 3 teams. The top seeded teams will be seeded together in pools A and B, with a guarantee of remaining in Tier 1, with the remaining teams seeded using the serpentine method for the remaining pools. This format rewards the strong results of the top 6 teams, allows for meaningful matches throughout the event, and provides all 24 teams with a pathway to Tier 1 Gold.
  • If registration numbers do not allow for this format, similar formats will be considered.
