A 10 week volleyball program for boys and girls, Ages 6-12!

Athletes will learn:

• FUNdamental movement skills that will benefit them in all sports
• team building skills
• volleyball specific technical skills
• volleyball specific tactical skills

Skills categories include:

• Serving
• Passing
• Setting (volleying)
• Attacking (spiking)
• Transitions (movement from one skill to the next)

The program is open to both boys and girls, and no previous volleyball experience is necessary! Skill development will happen through a mixture of drills and game-play. Athletes will be grouped by age and skill level.

When: Wednesdays 6:00pm - 7:45pm starting January 6th.

Where: Ecole du Sommet, 500 Larry Uteck Blvd.

Cost: $150.00 (includes T-Shirt)

About the Head Coach:

Leanne Marriott is the Head Coach of the 14U and 18U Intrépide girls teams, and also coaches at École Secondaire du Sommet. She has previously coached the 16u Girls team for Intrépide, and was the assistant coach of the 2015 16u and 2014 18u Nova Scotia Provincial Girls teams that competed at the National Team Challenge Cup. Leanne has also coached at several camps including Volleyball Nova Scotia’s 2015 and 2014 Elite Development Camps, Cape Breton University’s Volleyball Camp, and ACE Volleyball Club’s Volleyball camp in Vilseck, Germany.
