Club Directors are required to appoint a Delegate, who will have one vote for each team registered in the most recent indoor Provincial Championships. The name of the Delegate must be submitted to the Association in writing at least seven days before the meeting. Delegates must be at least eighteen years old and a member in good standing. Additionally, no Delegate may represent more than one club.
The agenda will be posted on the VNS website prior to the AGM. Any member wishing to propose new business for the agenda must submit written notice to the Association at least twenty-one (21) days before the meeting date.
This year’s AGM will be conducted virtually.

Under "New Business", two motions have come forward from Paul Worden of the Tide Volleyball Club.
The two motions are:
WE RESOLVE, for the purposes of club participation and play, Volleyball Nova Scotia (VNS) immediately adopts as its maximum required coaching certification standards, those same standards adopted by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and School Sport Nova Scotia. Specifically, VNS maximally requires all head coaches to take the “Making Headway" and “Safe Sport” or equivalent module offered by the Coaches Association of Canada (CAC).
WE RESOLVE, for the purposes of club participation and play, Volleyball Nova Scotia (VNS) immediately adopts the following two measures:
a) the use of unlimited use of substitutions at all levels of play, except 18U Tier 1 Boys and Girls;
b) the permitted use of two Liberos per team, per set at the 14U/15U/16U/17U/18U boys and girls age categories.
