12U HRM League Details:.

• Location: NSCC Ackerley Campus in Dartmouth  Teams can access the building by either the main front or main back door only.
• Game Schedule: Teams will play once or twice on Saturdays with matches starting at 9am, 10:15am, and 11:30am. Detailed schedule below.
• Co-ed participation (no limit on number of athletes per gender)
• A serving line will be set by taping hash marks at 7M from the net to allow more success while serving.
• Referees will use judgement to extend the serving line across the court, but unless egregious focus will be on successful rallies and play at this level.
• Tripleball will be the official game format for the league and all sanctioned VNS 12U events during the entire season including VNS Championships.
• Fair Play. All players listed on the scoresheet must start the first or second set.  
• Teams will play with the VS123W-SL volleyball.
• 2-4-4 warm up- 2 minutes for players to warm-up on their respective side of the court and 4 minutes for each team to use the full court (traditionally used for spiking and serving practice).  
• Scorekeeping: Each team is expected to provide one trained player or parent to complete the Tripleball Scoresheet for their own matches, an adult is preferred if possible. For easy instructions on how to fill out a Scoresheet – CLICK HERE. 
• Teams may play a thrid set regardless of the outcome of the first two sets.

After the third week of competition, teams will be reorganized to group teams of similar skill levels together.

The league will end on April 11 and no games will be played over March Break (March 8-15).
