Scotia Beach Elite Training Program

The objective of the Scotia Beach Elite Training Program is to help prepare athletes for the Atlantic Beach Tour and National Championships. Working towards National Championships and playing on the Atlantic Beach Tour is an expectation for teams wanting to take part in the Scotia Beach Program.

Training is scheduled for every Monday, Thursday and Friday evening from 4pm to 6pm between May 26 and August 16.  

Tryouts will be held at the following times:

Thursday, May 19 - 5 pm - 7pm - open court for registered participants
Saturday May 21 - 11am-1pm - open court for registered participants
 
Tryouts:
Monday May 23 - 4-6 pm 
Tuesday May 24 - 4-6 pm
Thursday May 26 - 4-6 pm (if needed)

Attendance at all tryout sessions is encouraged however we understand that athletes may have other commitments that conflict with the dates and times.

Participants should be between 14 and 19 years old and training groups will be created based on level of play.  17U/18U players are encouraged to play in the Adult Tuesday 2s and 16U and younger teams are asked to play in Wednesday’s Youth League.

Ideally participants will register with a partner. However players actively looking for partners are welcome. Personal coaches are also welcome.

The cost for the program is $450 and will include three coach led sessions per week and three tank tops. Registration will be open soon with a registration deadline of May 12.
