Plans are currently underway for a Level 2 referee clinic. There are lots of reasons to advance in this sport! To referee at VNS Provincials or to do lines or scoring at college or university events both require that you are registered as Provincial (Level 2) referee. Also...working on improvement makes the game that much more enjoyable for everyone!

Eligibility: Being active as a Local referee for at least 1 full season. This means being registered in your area and active. You are also required to have a full uniform (shirt, pants, primarily white shoes) and the necessary tools (whistle, watch, net chain). Finally, you need to have demonstrated the skills to advance and a positive attitude towards feedback and development. All nominations for a Level 2 come from the Area Reps so please contact them to discuss your eligibility.

Dates and Location: Theory on October 3 from 6-9pm at Sport Nova Scotia in Halifax AND on October 4 from 6-9pm at CEC in Truro.

Practicum Training: Saturday October 5 all day at CEC in Truro for their Sr Girls tournament.

Cost: $125

Final Evaluations: Final theory and practical evaluations take place during VNS Provincial Championships in April. The purpose of the clinic is to cover all of the elements for you to work on over the season to prepare for the final evaluation and be successful in promoting to Level 2.
