Super Series Registration is Open!

2017-01-03

This article contains information about the Super Series, including how to register.

Super Series

The Super Series is comprised of three major events in the 15U, 16U and 17/18U age categories. Each event is hosted in various locations across the province by local clubs. Teams are grouped based on their final pool play rank after each event. Teams are then re-grouped for the next event with other teams with similar finishes.  The third event results are used for seeding at Nova Scotia Championships.

2017 Super Series Dates:
  • Super Series 1 - February 10-12
  • Super Series 2 - March 3-5
  • Super Series 3 - March 31 - April 2
Age Categories: 15U, 16U and 17/18U

Cost: The 3 tournament series registration fee is $675.

Registration: CLICK HERE for the registration form. The deadline to register is January 17 at noon.

For more information please refer to the 2017 What's New document or the 2017 Competitions Guide

Super Series Hosting

Volleyball Nova Scotia is looking for clubs interested in hosting a Super Series event.

CLICK HERE for the Super Series Application Form

The main benefits to hosting are:
  • Fundraising potential such as food concessions
  • $45 per participating team
  • Opportunity to promote the sport and your club as well as encourage local support
  • Minimize travel expenses for your Club teams by staying local to compete
Ideally we'd like to host these events in facilities with 2 or more courts with 8m ceilings and 3m of free space around the court. More information regarding hosting responsibilities and the division of duties can be found at the end of the attached application form. If you are interested in hosting, please take a few minutes to complete the form and email it to VNS Executive Director Jason Trepanier no later than 4 weeks prior to the event you'd like to host.
