Development Coach Workshop

These courses have been designed to introduce the game of volleyball and basic concepts to novice coaches. Coaches will be expected to participate in a series of learning experiences designed to help them improve their volleyball coaching abilities, and have those abilities assessed. These activities represent the minimum standard for the training and certification of Volleyball coaches within the NCCP.

Development Coach Workshop 

Date: Saturday, March 11th and Sunday, March 12th, 2017

Location: Metro - Basinview Drive Community School, 273 Basinview Dr.,Bedford, NS

Time:
Saturday March 11th - 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Sunday March 12th - 9:00am - 5:00pm
Lunch and snacks are on your own and not provided.

Cost: $175.00 - paid online through Volleyball Canada

Registration: 

• Go to: http://coach.volleyball.ca/
• Log into your coaching account (or create one if you haven't already)
• Your coaching transcript should be on the once you log in, expand the Development Coach section to register for and complete the Pre-Requisites.
• Once those are complete, the link to register for a clinic will become active under the "In-Person Workshop" section.
• *Note: You will not be able to register until you complete the prerequisites listed below.

Registration Deadline: March 7th, 2017, 11:59pm

Prerequisites:

• Complete ALL 11 eLearning Modules at http://coach.volleyball.ca/
• Log in via a computer, tablet, etc. and complete the 11 eLearning modules under Development Coach
• Cost - 
  • Free if you've already completed the Volleyball Disciplines module (part of VNS/VC Coaching Requirements for 2017 Club Season)
  • $89.00 if not already paidYou will NOT be able to register for the clinic until you've completed these eLearning modules.
  Total time to complete these is 5-6 hours.
