Canada Cup Coming to Halifax!!

The Canada Cup will bring together Canada's next generation of high-performance athletes to compete in a true national championship. Athletes selected to their respective provincial team programs will compete at Dalhousie University from July 17-21, 2019. Tim Maloney, Executive Director, Athletics and Recreation at Dalhousie University had this to say, “It’s a tremendous honour to host a prestigious National Championship event like the Canada Cup. We are looking forward to welcoming Volleyball Canada and our country’s best young volleyball players to Dalhousie’s newly renovated athletic facilities in 2019.”   
 
The event will feature over 40 teams, including both male and female athletes in the 18U and 16U age categories. “It is incredibly important for the growth of volleyball in Nova Scotia to be able to showcase the best our sport has to offer. For that reason, I know the community will be just as excited as I am to welcome Volleyball Canada and the Canada Cup to Halifax.” said Jason Trepanier, Executive Director, Volleyball Nova Scotia.
