National Coaches Week 2019 - Sept 21-29

National Coaches Week is happening across Canada from September 21st-29th. 

There are some exciting professional development opportunities that have been created for coaches in terms of free online modules, as well as in-person events! These online and in-person event come with NCCP PD maintenance points toward keeping your certification active, as well as providing some fantastic coach education.

Online Events: 

• During National Coaches Week all eLearning in the CAC Locker will be free of charge. This includes:

  • Making Head Way in Sport

  • Coaching Athletes with a Disability

  • Coach Initiation in Sport

  • NCCP Emergency Action Plan

In-Person Events in Nova Scotia:

• To say #ThanksCoach, Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic in partnership with Sport Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation and the Government of Nova Scotia, will be offering professional development opportunities across the province at no charge.

• Topics vary across the six regions in Nova Scotia and were selected based off coach feedback. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Join the CSC-A in your region for an informative session and intriguing discussion! The first community coach professional development session is only a few days away!
