Team Atlantic Canada Cup Women's Indoor (18U)

Our 18U Women's Program this season will be a Team Atlantic

Tryout Information:

When: Saturday, June 16th, 1:00pm-3:00pm & 5:00pm-7:00pm and Sunday, June 17th, 11:30am-1:30pm

Where: Mount St. Vincent University, Bedford, 166 Bedford Hwy, Halifax, NS B3M 2J6

Who: Athletes born in 2000 & 2001* 

• *Athletes born in 2002 will be considered on an individual basis, please contact TD Megan Conroy to submit a request.

Cost: $40.00 per athlete (must be a member of VNS to register)

Tryout Process: Team will be selected after June 16th/17th tryout camp, on-court training will begin July 3rd.

Canada Cup Women's Indoor Full Program Details:

• Coaching Staff:  

  • Co-Coach, Hilary Sears, Truro, NS

  • Co-Coach, Lauren Sears, Truro, NS

• Training: 

  • July 3rd - July 16th, Bedford, NS - CP Allen, BHPCC & Basinview

  • On-Court training x1 per day (6:00PM-8:30PM)

  • IST training as scheduled by Coaching Staff (Mental Performance, Nutrition, Strength & Conditioning) - some individual sessions/training may be scheduled prior to July 3rd for athletes to do at home.

  • Other team sessions as scheduled by the Coaching Staff

• ​Competition:

  • Depart for Richmond, BC - July 17th

  • Canada Cup Tournament, Richmond, BC, July 18th-22nd, 2018

  • Canada Cup Team Member Cost: ~$1500 per athlete (to be confirmed)
    *Note - VNS will endeavour to help athletes selected living outside a commutable distance to training, secure a billet if needed.
