    • ​*Note: Team NS Programming follows the traditional calendar year, not the extended 16-month window of club volleyball.

      • Decision will be based on Regional ID capacity, and their ability/potential to physically, technically and tactically compete at a top 16U level. Interested athletes can be identified by completing this identification form.

• Identification Process:
  • ​​Step 1: Athlete must attend an Open Regional Identification Session to be identified, 
    • Regional ID Sessions will be 1.5-2 hours, and take place across the province in 6 different locations, from May 30th - June 5th.
    • ​Athletes may only attend 1 Open Regional ID Session, but it can be in any region.​
    • More specific details on Open Regional ID Session information and registration is located at the bottom of this page.
  •  ​​​​​Step 2: Elite Development Camp
    • 30-42 athletes per age group, per gender, will be selected from the Open Regional ID Sessions and will be offered a position at the Elite Development Camp, taking place at Acadia University (Wolfville, NS) on July 7th-10th. This selection camp will include 3.5 days of on-court and off-court sessions.
    • Athletes will be housed and meals provided through Acadia residence for the duration of the EDC, the costs for this are included in the total below.
    • Final Team NS Rosters will be selected from this camp.​

 

• Team NS Training:
  • ​If selected to a final roster for Team NS, Training will occur on the following days at Bedford Hammonds Plains Community Centre/CP Allen High School (Bedford, NS):
    • Weekend 1: ​July 14th-17th 
      • ​1 x Session Thursday between 5pm-10pm
      • 2 x Sessions Friday between 9am-10pm
      • 2x Sessions Saturday between 9am-9pm
      • 1-2 Sessions Sunday between 9am-9pm
    • ​Weekend 2: July 21st-24th 
      • ​1 x Session Thursday between 5pm-10pm
      • 2 x Sessions Friday between 9am-10pm
      • 2x Sessions Saturday between 9am-9pm
      • 1-2 Sessions Sunday between 9am-9pm

Open Identification Sessions

• We will be providing a window of time during which an athlete's session will occur, and we will provide a more specific time to athletes at a minimum of 48 hours prior to their session.
