Development Coach Workshop - Online Via Zoom - Feb 13 - Feb 27

• This is a roughly 20 hour course which takes place over 11 days which includes:

• Synchronus - Live!

  • 4 Live! Facilitated classes with a Learning Facilitator + 1 mandatory Office Hours (specifics listed below)

  Asynchronus - On your own time

  • Watching 5 Lectures (Total of ~ 6 hours) and completing 3 assignments  (Total of ~ 3-4 hours) to be completed outside of the Live! classes at your own pace, on your own time

  Dates & Times:

  • *Note: Coaches MUST be in attendance for all listed Live! Sessions + Virtual Office Hours 3 in full to receive credit for the course.​​
  • Feb 13- 7:00-8:15pm: Live! Introduction Session
  • Feb 17- 7:00-9:30pm: Live! Session Module 1
  • Feb 20 - 7:00-9:30pm: Live! Session Module 2 
  • Feb 24 - 6:00- 8:45pm: Virtual Office Hours 3 (Mandatory) - Option 1 & 2
    • ​Note: Coaches only attend one of the 1 hour 15 minute sessions (either 6:00-7:15 or 7:30-8:45)
  • Feb 27- 7:00-9:30pm: Live! Session Module 3 
  • Feb 28/29 - On own: Watch pre-recorded Course Wrap up

  Location: Online via Zoom Platform
  Learning Facilitators: Megan Conroy & Morgan Snow
  Cost: $149.00 - paid online through Volleyball Canada Coach Centre (Paypal or Credit Card).
  * Please note coaches withdrawing from the course within 7 days of the intro session will be refunded minus a 20% administration fee. Coaches withdrawing after course start will not receive a refund.

  Pre-Requisites to Register: 

  • Must have the following e-Learning courses completed:
    1. Volleyball Canada Foundations of Volleyball Course ($89.00, 2-3 hours to complete)
    2. NCCP Emergency Action Plan Course (Free, 15 minutes to complete)
    3. CAC Safe Sport Training (Free, 45 minutes to complete)

  Registration Process:

  1. Must have the above pre-requisites completed.
  2. Go to http://coach.volleyball.ca, change date to 2025, then click "Workshops" on the top row, find this workshop.
